The word "Length" for variable declaration is currently misspelled with "Lenght".

Example:
sunset TYPE p lenght 8 decimals 0,

Just tested some JSON

this works perfekt:

and this cause a dump

Might there be a problem with attribute names that are written in camel case? The parts of the name get separated by underlines and it seems that won't be filled.

Here is my example.

JSON:

{
  "serverId": "Q",
  "isDefault": true
}

ABAP type:

TYPES: BEGIN OF t_json1,
         is_default TYPE abap_bool,   "with unterline!
         server_id  TYPE string,
       END OF t_json1.

Deserialization:

    data: i_json type string,
          e_abap type t_json1.
    NEW /ui2/cl_json( )->deserialize(
      EXPORTING
        json             = i_json
      CHANGING
        data             = e_abap     "structure is initial
    ).
