Depending on the voice, it might be helpful to set the pitch and speed of the AVSpeechUtterance from the settings instead of using hardcoded values

There seems to be a bug, where all voices are classified as "default" when running the application on macOS Sonoma (14).

This might be a bug in macOS: FB12310191

For some reason, even though, we replace "DRS" with "D.R.S." to force speaking every single letter, the new OS are pronouncing it as "Doctors" (at least in some voices)

In settings, there should be a dropdown field with all installed Siri voices. This field should control, which voice is used by the TTS class.

It would be useful, if you could configure the output device for the TTS, not only the default output currently selected in macOS.

If possible, AirPlay and Bluetooth devices should be supported as well.

With iOS 17 and macOS 17, Apple will introduce personal voices. In order to support this properly in the selection, the grouping in Settings needs to be changed.
Right now, voices are grouped by their quality. However, with Personal Voices, Apple has introduced a new property called voiceTraits of type AVSpeechSynthesisVoice.Traits. This can tell us, whether a voice is a personal voice or not.

Unfortunately, I couldn't test Personal Voices yet, because in Beta 1 it doesn't work properly on my iPhone yet.

Not sure, if it is possible, but maybe the application can scan for the default F1MV-port 10101 in the network to make it easier to enter the API-URL.
