Untersuchungen zur inertialsensorbasierten Positions- und Bewegungsbestimmung mobiler Objekte

Kurzfassung

In dieser Arbeit wurde eine inertiale Messeinheit mit einem Raspberry Pi gekoppelt. Es wurden Untersuchungen zur Qualität der gelieferten Daten durchgeführt. Weiterhin wurden Methoden vorgestellt um diese Daten zur Positions- und Bewegungsbestimmung zu nutzen. Algorithmen zur Neigungs- und Streckenberechnung wurden entwickelt sowie eine Schritterkennung. Hierfür wurden die Grundlagen und Funktionsweisen von Beschleunigungssensor, Gyroskop und Magnetometer erörtert um anhand ihrer Charakteristiken eine Optimierung der Positions- und Bewegungsbestimmung zu erzielen.

Abstract

In this paper an Inertial Measurement Unit(IMU) was coupled with a Raspberry Pi. The quality of the provided data was analysed. Furthermore methods for positioning and movement calculation were presented. Algorithms for position estimation and tilt sensing have been developed as well as a pedestrian reconing system. Therefor the basics and functionality of an accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer were discussed in order to optimize the calculation for positioning and movement.
