doc_questions.py doesn't test for '' in answer, and therefore doesn't process.
Fix it.
If answer isn't found due to OpenAi error, and error is inserted it's not available later

Also these bug titles suck.
Why is PDF to image conversion default?
Why are PDFs converted to images by default (according to README)? Most PDFs have embedded text and one does not need OCR or any image recognition to retrieve the text.
Handle OpenAI token errors in Weaviate
Weaviate will barf if the OpenAI token isn't good.
Fix it.
