A CLI utility which generates and verifies BIP39 addresses.
This program is heavily based on the MIT-licensed Trezor source code, and as such is released under the MIT license.
When working with bitcoin, standards are your friend. This program solves the specific problem of generating a secure BIP39 mnemonic with optional passphrase. It uses derivation routines from the secure Trezor hardware wallet. This is useful for cross-verifying other BIP39 generators such as the one at https://dcpos.github.io/bip39/, verifying a hardware Trezor device, or generating multiple BIP39 wallets on independent systems using independent software stacks for use in a BIP32 multisig fund, as supported by Electrum.
