icalendar-validator's Issues

How to run it?

Hi!

Sorry, i'm probably an idiot, but how do i run this?

I have cloned the repo, and ran the docker run command provided in the readme.

docker run --volume=/Users/i/Project/icalendar-validator/data:/data --platform=linux/amd64 faph/icalendar-validator /data/ical.ics

I've put the file ical.ics in a the data directory. If i connect to the docker container the file has been synced, so no issue there.

Is the docker run command supposed to give output? or am i supposed to run something in the container itself?

Running on an m1 mac.

Thanks a lot!

Provide a normal jar executable.

Nobody wants to install any containerism to just run what is just a tiny program.

Can you just build it to normal bytecode and package and release it as a normal jar executable for people to run?

Alternatively, I recommend at least going full SillyCon Valley luddite techie, and renting some Google cloud to run Windows 11 inside a VM inside Electron (c.f. copy.sh/v86/) on a ChromeOS instance connected to a smart fridge edge computer, so you can implement the blockchain AI component to your nice OS and please Elon Musk’s very strongly shaped … rocket. 😋
