Some issues and a question about adrilight HOT 13 CLOSED

Just wanted to let you know: I am currently working on all these error messages and I am making good progress so far. I will test it further privately for a bit but you can expect a new release soon.

okay so it is better to make a single issue for a single thing only, but neverthelesse, here we go:

1. I did not touch the test overlay since the fork from bambilight. it is very slow and flickery. It is also not that helpful either. I am not sure what to do but I may remove it completely in favor for a complete preview of how adrilight sees your desktop and where it picks it colors from but it is much work and i am currently happy to have it at least working.
2. I did not touch the autostart feature as well and I haven't tried it myself! I will look into it.
3. did you use the second release? because the one with the icon should not do this anymore.

Bambilight used the MIT licence and I did as well. If you stick to it, you can do whatever you like.

Sorry it's the first time I'm using a website like github, next time I will do one thread per issue 👍

1. Don't worry for that, it works well without this feature 👍
2. Finally the autostart doesn't seems to be the problem, because if I don't enable it and if I start Adrilight manually the first time after booting my pc I got this :
   
   After clicking OK I can launch it again and it works fine.
3. Yes I'm using the second release.
   

The 1st and 3rd issues are not really important, but if you can fix the 2nd without using all of your time it could be nice 😆

Anyway Adrilight is a really cool software 😄

I made a new release which contains some fixes for the issues you mentioned.

• Auto start should work now
• Start minimzed works now
• Some exceptions are gone

Thank you for this update, there is no exceptions anymore, when minimized it won't show when we use ALT + TAB, the linear lightning is interesting I need to watch some movie to see if I like it more than the non linear.

@TallyMih : Try to use bambilight. Bambilight uses an older way to get the screen content.

Adrilight uses the Desktop Duplication API which works on Windows 8 and 10.

Please come back, if you ever upgrade your OS 😃

i put led on my tv 32 horiontal with 54 vertical i use arduino nano
i have 2 laptop one with win 7 x64 procesor i3 graph intel with geforge
and another laptop win win 10 x64 procesor z8300 graph intel
first i try bambilight not work same like picture
i try adrilight same not work same like picture
i try LED Strip Controller works music , color , ambient but when i select adrilight start program and same blank for led in test overlay
Now on laptop with 7 i will make upgrade to 10 i hope it work

works rainbow color
not hardware it is probem
the software is problem
in raninbow color when i start led output led ws2812 it stoped when i stop led ouput come back to rainbow
in test overlay it show me led black, it dont change color like scrren
