When using Sync from Atom, I get an error 'Bad request' in Atom.

Cause is line 60 in store.xql server side:
let $log := console:log("Uploading " || $path)

When I comment out that line, stuff works. Not sure why. Using eXist 4.3.1.

simple fix

Adaptive output is a more flexible default for query results shown in Atom than XML output.

atom-editor-support's function doc lookup was originally ported from eXide and inherited the same issues described in wolfgangmm/eXide#139 and fixed with wolfgangmm/eXide#138. As originally suggested in wolfgangmm/eXide#138 (comment), porting these changes to atom-editor-support would make these fixes available to atom-existdb users:

• allow lookup of functions in mapped modules (e.g., kwic)
• fix math module lookup problems
• add support for fn:-prefixed function lookup, respecting the prefix if supplied
• add comments to explain handling of various cases
• make variable names a little more verbose to ease maintenance
