I found this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wifi.ultron.com.wifikeyview on the Google Play Store. This guy just took your source code, added some ads in it and put it on the Store, without warning this is free software...
As you are the owner of the source code, feel free to open a request to google here to remove this copy from the Store, if it's your wish ;)
Don't forget to tell Google that:
I found your app a few days ago from a reddit post on r/androidapps. I installed it on my rooted device and I am really happy with it. Thus, I think you should add it to this list of good opensource android apps
https://github.com/CHEF-KOCH/Android-Privacy-Data-Protection-Tools-Mega-Thread#networking
Thank you :)
Please, can you add an adaptive icon for WiFi Key View?
It's a simple thing just for the app icon follow the default shape of the device system.

Root check not working. The app closes right away with "I need root" despite me granting it. I can see my passwords in the recents screenshot, so it works, but the app doesn't think it is working. Google Pixel with Android 7.1.2 with Magisk 14.2 root. Previously working on same device.
May I ask what license your code is under? You didn't specify any in the project.
Running v1.7 from f-droid on my Magisk rooted Oreo 8.0 phone with root granted to the app but an empty list is displayed. If I use a root file manager then I can parse WifiConfigStore.xml
and get the details manually. Are any logs generated to troubleshoot?
On my Pixel 2 I recently noticed that wifi networks are now saved to /data/misc/wifi/WifiConfigStore.xml. I was wondering if the app could be updated to support it? I use Magisk for root and I've granted root permission but it does not read any of my wifi passwords.
In Android 11 the wifi passwords are now stored in:
/data/misc/apexdata/com.android.wifi/WifiConfigStore.xml
Would be nice if the app could be updated to check this location.
