android-wifi-key-view's Issues

Copycat on Google Play

Hi @evait-security

I found this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wifi.ultron.com.wifikeyview on the Google Play Store. This guy just took your source code, added some ads in it and put it on the Store, without warning this is free software...

As you are the owner of the source code, feel free to open a request to google here to remove this copy from the Store, if it's your wish ;)

Don't forget to tell Google that:

  • The app is licensed under Apache v2 license and this guy is violating it;
  • He is falsely claiming he made the app;
  • Provide some screenshots of your own app.

Root detection issue with Magisk on Pixel

Root check not working. The app closes right away with "I need root" despite me granting it. I can see my passwords in the recents screenshot, so it works, but the app doesn't think it is working. Google Pixel with Android 7.1.2 with Magisk 14.2 root. Previously working on same device.

License

May I ask what license your code is under? You didn't specify any in the project.

Empty list on Oreo

Running v1.7 from f-droid on my Magisk rooted Oreo 8.0 phone with root granted to the app but an empty list is displayed. If I use a root file manager then I can parse WifiConfigStore.xml and get the details manually. Are any logs generated to troubleshoot?

Does not detect wifi passwords on Pixel 2 running 8.1

On my Pixel 2 I recently noticed that wifi networks are now saved to /data/misc/wifi/WifiConfigStore.xml. I was wondering if the app could be updated to support it? I use Magisk for root and I've granted root permission but it does not read any of my wifi passwords.
