event-board's Issues

Inviting a user to an event should require the invitee's approval

Right now, a user can instantly add their friend to the "invitees" section of an event.
This approach has several disadvantages:

  • The person invited cannot reject the invite
  • They have no way of knowing who invited them to which event

This can be fixed by introducing event invite requests, similar to currently implemented friend requests:

  • The invitee could see which one of his friends invited him to which event
  • After accepting such an invite, the invitee would automatically be considered a participant of the event

Users should be able to "unpublish" events

Right now event publication cannot be reversed, this shouldn't be the case.
After unpublishing an event, the guest and invitee lists should be reset, allowing the owner to modify the event as they see fit, before publishing it again, or deleting it.
