I hope this message finds you all well and that you’re all successfully programming your events and activations. I wanted to bring your attention to a community marketing deadline that you will find valuable to support your events. The Eugene Weekly annually releases a Summer Guide that lists all summer events in the community. We highly encourage you to submit your events and activations(!) as they will be listed in both print and online. To do so, visit the Eugene Weekly website and follow their instructions for web submission.

We also recommend that you add your events to Travel Lane County’s web calendar and also The Register Guard. While this takes some administrative time on your desktop/laptop, it is helpful to offer as many points of contact for the community to stumble upon your event/activation as possible – and this is free promotion.

Also, if you haven’t already, it’s a great idea to submit a press release to local media about your event/action(s) as well, highlighting that you’re supported by the Downtown Program Fund and include any and all features about your event.

Hi Jennifer,

I'd like to stop by in the next few weeks to get the keys to kesey square for this years KING-PONG series. Here is the paperwork. I think you have insurance on file, but I can provide new docs if needed.

Can you please tell me the total amount for the check I should make out to The Saturday Market?

regards,
Mark Davi

design challenge street light in kesey square

the upgraded street light in kesey square is ligh polution for the screen. The challenge is to block the light in an artistic way and not break any codes. This prolly means not attaching anything to or touching the pole.

stuff that needs to happen

get a little bluetooth keyboard

It's would be great for the EmCee to be able to control more of the game from out in front of things. @pramslam thought that a presentation pointer would be handy. jeronemo thought a little keyboard would be cool....

Should we have a t-shirt seller?

At make-a-band at the WOW Hall there was some Veneta folks selling low quality shirts and looking to expand their business. I'm fine with them selling their first and our shirts if we want to outsource that function. "Grateful tees" I think was the name
