These don't have to be high-quality, but at the moment I'm just asking people to go find their own models, which isn't great. Cloning the repository, compiling and running should be enough to see the game working properly.

At the moment the program crashes when given a model without a texture. This is a bit silly.

It's pretty common for programs to export OBJ models that use quads.

A really naive solution to this, which I'm obviously going to use, is to just turn the quad into two triangles. I am very intelligent.

I want the player character to move around 3D space based on a vector drawn from the centre of the screen (or the ship?) to the mouse (or projected position of the mouse?). This will require tweaking and revisiting so it isn't horribly nauseating.

I also think in a game like this it'd be sensible to have separate 'steering' and 'ui navigation' modes. Maybe only steer while holding right click, or something like that.

Mark this resolved when you can use the mouse + wasd to navigate in 3D space in a fairly intuitive and non-janky way. It should feel good!
