If GPS disabled and there is a valid cached network location, the map does not center.

I suspect there is an issue with some European cell carriers in that they don't offer the Network_Provider.option.

The library com.esri.android.map.MapView is missing, is there a specific library or SDK that i should use it with this project?

I'm having problems getting the code to run with the esriquickstart library - what version is the included jar? When I attempt to run with the included esriquickstart.jar, I get "NoClassDefFoundError for com.esri.quickstart.EsriQuickStart" - but when I downloaded the EsriQuickstart project (from https://github.com/Esri/quickstart-map-android), the syntax of some of the functions is different, so it won't compile. Any thoughts?

Update, GpsStatus is deprecated as of API 24. Use GnssStatus instead. Reference: https://developer.android.com/reference/android/location/GpsStatus.html

There are other existing GPS classes that are being deprecated including GpsSatellite. Needs investigation.

There are a few errors, such as setLocationNetworkProvider() not properly going to sleep and throwing null pointer exceptions.

Sometimes after the application has been minimized for a while it throws a fatal exception when you go to open the app again.

I was able to reproduce and got a Nullpointer exception in GPSTesterActivityController line 305.

This may be related to the code that is affected by the European LocationManager bug.

v1.2.1.1 and previous versions require an internet connection.
