Hello-Books-API Build Status

Hello-Books is a simple Flask API that manage a library and its processes like stocking, tracking and renting books

Features

  1. Users can create an account and log in

  2. Users can view books.

  3. Users can borrow books.

  4. Only admin users should be able to add, modify and delete book information

Microframework: Flask

Programming Language: Python 3

Api development: Postman

Tests

From the project's directory run the tests by using this command python -m unittest discover -v

How to run this project

Git clone the project $ git clone https://github.com/Erianafranky/Hello-Books-API.git

  1. Install virtual environment $ pip install virtualenv

  2. Create a virtual environment for the project then activate it $ virtualenv my-venv

  3. Install requirements $pip install -r requirements

  4. Navigate to the app folder then run the command python run.py
