A graphical interface for Object Capture on macOS
Hi there,
just tried the app and created DNGs via the RAW-Toggle instead of HEIC.
But on the Mac it doesn't show any progress bar on creating a model like w HEIC? No Error msg either?
Anybody had that problem too?
Is it ok to create a Homebrew cask from your app ?
Thanks
Will any intel and any 4GB AMD gpu work? Is a R7 350x compatible with the object capture API? How about an i5 4590? Thanks
Amazing work! To further improve your app, HelloPhotogrammetry has additional settings that are really valuable when 3D scanning. Exposing the following setting will help scanning and compare 3D scans under different settings:
Below is a copy of all the commandline arguments available from HelloPhotogrammetry. Thanks for all the amazing work!
USAGE: hello-photogrammetry <input-folder> <output-filename> [--detail <detail>] [--sample-overlap <sample-overlap>] [--sample-ordering <sample-ordering>] [--feature-sensitivity <feature-sensitivity>]
ARGUMENTS:
<input-folder> The local input file folder of images.
<output-filename> Full path to the USDZ output file.
OPTIONS:
-l, --sample-overlap <sample-overlap>
sampleOverlap {normal, low} It should be set to `low` if there is low overlap between images captured nearby in space.
-o, --sample-ordering <sample-ordering>
sampleOrdering {unordered, sequential} Setting to sequential may speed up computation if images are captured in a spatially
sequential pattern.
-f, --feature-sensitivity <feature-sensitivity>
featureSensitivity {normal, high} Set to high if the scanned object does not contain a lot of discernible structures, edges
or textures.
Hi a quick help, which spec would you suggest for Object Capture.
13" Pro with M1 or 16" Pro with Dedicated 4GB AMD GPU ?

I'm pretty new to MacOS. I have a Mac mini M1 I'm running photocatch on. It started out very fast. Processing 200ish pics in about 25 minutes. For some reason the processing time has gradually gotten slower and slower. Now 200 images seems to take an hour. Also seems if I turn off the minitor and go do something the progress just sits there till I return. It's strange for sure. Is there a cache or something I need to clear or a bunch of photos hidden in a temp folder? Thanks
