This library helps you in retrieving pictures from the camera of your device, managing the orientation of the picture so that it returns correctly and the new Runtime permission request of Android 6.0.
Add it in your root build.gradle
at the end of repositories:
allprojects {
repositories {
...
maven { url "https://jitpack.io" }
}
}
Add the dependency:
dependencies {
compile 'com.github.Ennova-IT:PhotoTakerLibrary:V1.1'
}
Create a new instance of PhotoLib
photoLib = new PhotoLib(AppCompatActivity, String, OnPhotoRetrievedListener);
where the String
is the applicationId of your app
Request a picture:
photoLib.takePictureFromCamera();
and manage the retrieved picture in the void onPhotoRetrieved(Bitmap)
method of
your OnPhotoRetrievedListener
. If the library needs to request a rationale for
the new Android Runtime permission request, the void onPermissionRationaleRequested()
method will be invoked.
You can always retrieve the path of the image by using the PhotoLib.getPhotoPath()
method.
