Energized Protection - unblock ⚡

unblock the legit domains.

This repository is basically a collection of whitelisted domains that are being used in Energized Protection block to keep the legit domains unblocked. Obviously without compromising privacy and security!

What is this for?

This Energized Protection unblock is designed to give users a better experience while using any blocklist from other source than Energized Protection block. Energized Protection block lists are always updated with the legit domains whitelisted.

We have been collecting these whitelisted domains from the user reports, online communities (Ex. Reddit, Telegram, XDA) and our personal usage since the very early days of our beginning. Thanks to all the users and supporters out there for helping us improve day by day. You guys are awesome!

Metricool is a social media tool and in no way should it be considered used for 'advertisements'.
Some customers are complaining that their ad blocker is denying them access to *.metricool.com

Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application (prod-rel-ffc-ccm.oobesaas.adobe.com)

The Creative Cloud Desktop application requires prod-rel-ffc-ccm.oobesaas.adobe.com in order to load it's user interface. Without this allowlisted domain it just hangs and fails to load.

Worked great after I added the exception.

Looks like this domain is coming from here: https://github.com/badmojr/1Hosts/blob/master/Pro/hosts.txt

I'll open an issue with that repository to try and get the domain removed.

Whitelist apps

Most apps nowadays detect EP Adblocker , earlier this was not the case. Is there any way to whitelist these apps without knowing their host domains,
as I can't use them with EP on.

This is merely a cell phone company by TracFone ?

Is unblocking of s0.2mdn.net still the case?

s0.2mdn.net seem pretty prevalent and blocking it I haven't found single site to break.
I would tried mtv.ca and cbs.com to recheck that whitelisting s0.2mdn.net is still needed, but those are geo-fenced and doesn't play in my region unfortunately.

Would you reconsider to remove s0.2mdn.net from unblock list, for example https://github.com/EnergizedProtection/unblock/blob/master/basic/formats/domains.txt ?

Allowing subdomains?

I am not sure whether the following feature already exists, in which case I have not yet determined how to implement it or, whether it can be implemented.

Would it be possible to allow subdomains like *somesite.com/groups/* whilst either blocking the domain *somesite.com?

Podcasts not playing

Podcasts like Waveform on Spotify and google podcasts, won't play using "Basic" & "Blu" hosts file

Country: India

If u want specific domains that are blocked i don't know how to check, but someone can help to identify those I'll list the blocked domains in detail.

I have tested waveform podcasts only, but some other podcasts might also be blocked
