Hi @emibcn, this is just what I was looking for to control my own badges. The main driver, though, is to provide better #a11y than all the badges out there, which lack proper markup for screen readers, which visually impaired users rely on.

Are you interested to build in/accept a PR to add that to this project? Possibly, with an option to just use textual badges (gradient badges are pretty, but also eats up extra bandwidth and the real important information doesn't need an image).

This is a really cool action, but having to manually update the minor version changes can be a pain. Could you create a v2 tag that's a floating major version, much like your v1 tag?

A strict mode directive is a "use strict" literal at the beginning of a script or function body. It enables strict mode semantics. When a directive occurs in global scope, strict mode applies to the entire script:

Plans to bump node to 20?

The following warning happens when using the badge action:

This can be fixed by updating the version of @actions/core

When Running in actions, a deprecation warning will occur because of version of node for this, and upload-artifact. Looking into if there is a newer version of upload artifact now for examples. If there is anything I can do for Badge-Action please let me know.
