Crash if you don't active signs optionnal mods

Minetest version 5.1.0

Hi, if you do not activate the optional mod, the server crashes when you put a car down.

PS: Why use signs that have been out of date for 7 years? (no mod.conf, deprecated functions ...)

Otherwise great job!

It doesn't work on my server.

But the mod works on my Windows computer(with GUI).
What's wrong with my server? I haven't modified the source code.
Server operating system: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS(Alibaba Cloud ECS)
