dmp-writing-workshop's Introduction

DOI

2024-06-05 DMP-writing-workshop

All Norwegian universities require a DMP for all projects. All projects that receive funding from the Norwegian RCN are required to submit a data management plan as soon as possible after the contract with the RCN has been signed. This two-days workshop focuses on how-to generate a data management plan for a Life Science research project that will meet both requirements.

The workshop is designed for researchers (PhD candidates, Post Doctoral Fellows, Associate Professors and Professors) in existing and upcoming Life Science projects to develop their DMP in this workshop. Here, you will find the teaching material for DMP writing workshop

dmp-writing-workshop's Issues

Contents of the "About" box

The contents in the box should possibly be revised.

  • The website listed can be used by 3rd party tools (e.g. glittr) and should probably point to the DOI of the release instead of the generic elixir.no.
  • The Topics field lists institutions, which is probably not correct. I suppose one would want instead to use e.g. the very same EDAM terms we use on TeSS, for consistency.

Let me know if you agree and feel free to propose more changes @Nazeeefa @korbinib. I can certainly update the repo myself if you are ok with it.

License is not recognised by GitHub

The license is not correctly recognised as Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.
This is probably due to some formatting issues in the file. (note that CCBY 4 is not among the GitHub license templates,
which is probably the origin of the issue).
