This simple, yet powerful note taking application will help keep your mind on track throughout the day.
- Express: Unopinionated and minimalist web framework for Node.js.
- Node.js: JavaScript runtime environment that allows you to execute server-side code.
- Uniqid: Unique ID generator for JavaScript.
- JavaScript: Programming language used for client-side and server-side scripting.
- CSS3: Cascading style sheets for styling HTML elements.
- HTML5: The latest version of Hypertext Markup Language.
- BootstrapCDN: Front-end framework that simplifies responsive web design.
- Heroku: Cloud-based platform used to deploy and manage applications.
- Clone the repository to your local machine.
- Install Node.js locally, if you haven't already.
- Use
npm init
in terminal to create package.json. - Use
npm install
in terminal to install dependencies. - Use
node server.js
in terminal to start up development server. - Select http://localhost:3001 in terminal to be directed to the broswer.
