Checkin causes NullPointException is throw at gameOverlay in GameMapView.class

Checkin causes NullPointException is throw at gameOverlay in GameMapView.class

Case 1: Sometimes I can see both Grad house star and AC star on the map at 
beginning. After I Check in Grad House star.. Both GradHouse and AC Stars 
disappear.
Case 2: If I check in AC first then GradHouse, AC stars remain on the 
screen..but goal is pointing to library.

Note this bugs doesn't happen often too, and sometime this bugs lead to defect 
1.

Checkin star doesn't disappear after click on once. Sometimes have to tap on 
the screen again to make it disappear in android 2.3.6.

grad house is checked in and title updated to Athletic Center but grad hosue 
star is still there.
