GCSE past papers, fast.

Installation (Windows)

If you know how to, clone this repository/compile the code (e.g running setup.exe should be enough to start the GUI installer)

Otherwise,

Download the zip file: https://github.com/edamame-maru/examKiller/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
Extract all the files to a desired folder
Double click to execute setup.exe. A (usually blue) warning window will appear, titled Windows protected your PC telling you that Microsoft Defender SmartScreen has stopped the installation. Click the underlined More info and then Run anyway to start the installation.
Once the setup has ended, open the Start Menu and search for examKiller The app will open.

Future suggestions

I have some potentially helpful suggestions:

Make the welcome page more aesthetically pleasing
Eliminate unnecessary features on the embedded websites e.g. cookies dialogue, ads...
Implement more exam boards
Implement more specific headers for subjects or year etc

I think this is a great project though :)

Setup.exe in japanese

If you don't understand Japanese, click the left option that is marked (I) on install (probably means install)

PDF viewer for files opens in new window

After downloading past papers, WebView launches the PDF viewer in a new window, which was at first thought desired behaivour. Option to choose if past papers are opened in new window should be created.
