clean directory check not working about git-repo-updater HOT 2 CLOSED

This isn't a well-designed piece of software at all (it's fairly old, and I should be really using a Python-Git library rather than direct shell commands...) so this issue doesn't surprise me. I'll work on improving it soon.

No worries, its speeding up my dev at bit at the moment anyway. I'll submit a pull request for the quick fix I added locally once I figure out how to actually do that!
