I was wondering about the license of this project. This code would be useful for my current project. I could probably create something similar, but it would be nice to instead reuse your code.

Since no licence is specified, I was wondering if it would be okay to use it under some permissive open-source license, e.g. MIT or BSD.

But when suicide move has been made
the program will crash and the error as below:

self.board.groups.remove(self)
ValueError: list.remove(x): x not in list

can you fix it :)?

Hello,
I noticed an issue with the exit() method used in goban.py, main function for exiting the program. The program raised a SystemException error when quitting the game that from what I've found seems to be because the sys.exit() method requires an integer argument to specify exit status.
when exit(0) was used instead of exit() the program behaved normally.
