We want to update old images in a more consistent overall style, as mentioned in #14
The available games are as follows:
Jotego Single Cores - Released
Jotego Single Cores - Unreleased
Boogerman Single Cores - Released
It's a lot of work to redo everything, but those Computer platform image look really really nice. So clean and stylish. Maybe we should remake all of the console and handheld image in the same way?
Image for Home Consoles to Complete

Unreleased Home Core Images to Complete
In addition to arcade games, I want to create releases for consoles, handhelds, and computers, too. I don't want to create individual releases for each of those categories, so they'll be grouped together and considered "Home" cores.
Refactor the code to have arcade and home cores on equal levels, and zipped up for each release.
Continue to keep alternate and unreleased folders to other overrides, but don't include them in releases and don't front-face them as much as the arcade and home overrides.

Create a process, probably a piggy-back process for Process Platforms, that will create an MD file that collects all of the arcade cores (both released and unreleased) and sorts them by developer.
I don't like the white fade I was doing with Arcade Multi originally.
The Irem Arcade Multi core images should be remade in a newer style that allows the art to take up the whole frame, rather than just the right side.
Also, there's a fourth Irem Multi core. Irem M5x combines Moon Patrol, Traverse USA, and Tropical Angel.
Also, remake the following Single core games
Some home consoles have different names and different shapes depending on if they were released in North America, Europe, or Japan. With the new version of the platform images, it's not so difficult to make as long as I can find the image.
So, let's try to make regional images.
European Versions
Japanese Versions
**Note: Turbo Duo was released in Japan, but not released in Europe. Also, the PC Engine CD was the same in Europe as Japan.
The above comment is wrong. The PC Engine was released in Europe as the TurboGrafx and it was similar to the US counterpart. As far as I can tell, the CD add-on was never released in Europe.

There are several other arcade cores that have already been released. I think they have some good images, but I should probably make my own so that my image set is complete with all currently released cores. Then, if someone is switching image packs, my packs can completely overwrite their categories and they don't need to fill in gaps.

Now that I've replaced almost all of the old arcade images, the alternatives folder is getting pretty full.
The alternatives folder should be organized into 3 folders:
When I first started making Arcade images, I just grabbed an image of the US arcade marquee and moved on.
For more recent images, I've used original key artwork and moved things around in the frame to create a better composition. Lately, I've also tended to use the Japanese titles rather than the American ones.
I think it'd be worth it to go back through some released images and update them to my current style to make everything more consistent, especially for games from the same developer. Also, I'd prefer them to face the original developer rather than the US distributor, aka Romstar, etc.

The Williams 6809 family of games it comprised of 3 separate Hardware, and has the following games:
Rev.1 Defender Hardware
Colony7
Defender
Jin
Mayday
Rev.1 Robotron Hardware
Alien Arena
Bubbles
Joust
LottoFun
Playball
Robotron 2084
Sinistar
SpeedBall
Splat
Stargate
Rev.2 Hardware
Inferno
Joust 2 - Survival of the Fittest
Mystic Marathon
Turkey Shoot
Right now there's a single image for Robotron, but it has Defender on it, which isn't available in the Mister core.
There should be 3 standard image for each of these hardware implementations, and a single combination core for everything. I would suggest that the combination core image look similar to the MCR combo image.

Currently the View All page shows all of the cores sorted by FPGA developer. Let's make another page that shows all the cores sorted by original developer of the Arcade game.
There are some handheld cores that we know are coming in the future, plus there's lots of other stuff that will hopefully come, too. Make some overrides to prepare!

When the Pocket has too many platform JSON files, the menu takes too long to load. Only include platform JSON overrides for images in the repo.

Let's comb through other Mister cores that haven't come to the Pocket to see what might be ported in the future.

Coin-Op Collective plans on releasing all of their games in individual cores, and I've made images for everyone of them. See Issue #9
But, as more and more Arcade games get released, the Arcade category gets larger and larger, and it's more complicated to find what you want. Creating combination cores that collect many of these games is a good way of cutting down on the amount of overall cores. Although, you could argue that it makes finding some things more difficult.
Anyways, the Coin-Op games were originally released on the Mister as combination cores based on their hardware structure. This includes the following:
Maybe the Nichibutsu stuff should be collected into a single combo-core? I dunno.

Atrac17 has begun releases Co-Op cores on the Pocket starting with Truxton II. Make images for all the cores.
He's got 43 separate games listed here: https://github.com/atrac17/Coin-Op_Collection/tree/main/_Arcade
6 of them are pram0d cores, so there'll be 37 from there, plus a few others he's doing.

There was a bug in agg23's Image Processor that offset all images by one pixel to the left. Because of this, all bin file images have a 1-pixel strip of white on the right. He recently fixed this bug, so update the processor, and render all images.
