detect peripheral disconnect
Currently there is no way to detect a disconnected peripheral except for querying its connected status. Even when using acquire-notify waiting for data is not interrupted when the peripheral disconnects.
The bluetoothctl application seems to be able to detect a disconnecting peripheral. Studying its C-source has not yet lead to a discovery of how it does this. The DBus Api offers no way to get a signal when a peripheral disconnects.
The documentation specifies that on disconnect a "HUP" is generated. This does not seem to refer to SIGHUP as the program does not recieve a SIGHUP when a disconnect is forced.
