automap-chan's Issues

Automap-chan triggers Malwarebytes on First Use

The application started fine, and I was able to load a MIDI, but once I clicked "Create Beatmap", the software closed and I got this message from Malwarebytes.

image

For some reason, it only triggered once, but it could turn away future users.

Does not launch.

When i launch "Automap-chan.v20190121.jar" through cmd (clicking on it does nothing, probably because of this error), It gives me an error when i run it.

What commands's i have tried to use to run:

  • java -jar Automap-chan.v20190121.jar
  • java -jar -d64 Automap-chan.v20190121.jar

The error:

Missing attributes for JarRsrcLoader in Manifest (Rsrc-Main-Class, Rsrc-Class-Path)
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.jarinjarloader.JarRsrcLoader.main(JarRsrcLoader.java:46)

Java Version's i have tried to use:

  • Eclipse Java JRE 17
  • Eclipse Java JRE 8
  • Oracle Java JRE 8

Selecting Midi File and Clicking on Open Does Nothing.

I have reopened the program up several times, selecting my Midi file, and clicking on the Open button but nothing happens not even an error message window. If I don't select a Midi file an information message window shows up telling me to select a Midi file, fine.

Am I doing something wrong, or is my copy of the program bugged and maybe need to redownload it?

Thanks.

Deprecated code: corrupted beatmap is exported

Firstly, I just wanted to applaud you for this project I really liked the initiative and the work put into this even thought this was a couple of years old not sure if this is actively being developed or anything like that, but as a request, I would really like for this to work again, if it's possible...

The program opens fine, but as soon as export a beatmap, I am met with this-

This is what I saw in the logs-

This is probably something related to the imported modules and not the actual source code of the program itself. I'm not a java developer so I might be wrong. But I hope someone will look into this...
