Exception when running "curl http://duckpan.org/install.pl | perl" to setup environment about p5-app-duckpan HOT 7 CLOSED

I`m pretty much new to this Linux OS (Ubuntu),i did search for the
build.log file but i was not able to find it in my home directory or in
entire file system.so can u just help me with this.

@dreamweiver it should be in /home/dreamweiver/.cpanm/work/1378646321.3315/build.log according to the output you pasted above. Look at the 5th last line :)

@dreamweiver I'm not quite sure how that's possible...please try running the DuckPAN install again, curl http://duckpan.org/install.pl | perl and if/when it breaks look in the output to see what the build.log path is. Then try opening that filepath with vim, emacs, etc.

Let me know how that goes...

For what it's worth, I just signed up on https://koding.com/ and using the free Ubuntu VM they gave me, ran the DuckPAN install and it all worked. This is a guess, but perhaps the problem is with your VM? Are you able to create a new one and see if that works?
