I want ot know when an error happens, primarily if I have incorrect syntaxy.

I'd prefer if this wasn't a pop, or something that obscured my view. Maybe just turn the query box red and put a label underneath it with the error or something?

Also, maybe make it turn green when it successfully runs?

Possibly a recent connection list -- I'd consider this less priority than favorite connections

Right now I can't use the scroll wheel to look though an expanded query.

Not sure how much you can do about this, but when i enlarge a large collection item, scrolling starts being an all-or-nothing thing, which has the potential to cut off the bottom of very large "rows".

Some sort of drop-down to store favorite connections

I'm pretty able to figure out most things on my own, but it would be nice to have some sort of tooltips or placeholder text to help me identify the basic flow of

1. Connect
2. Select collection
3. Run query

A hot key or button that quickly inserts a query stump would be awesome!

Basically your input box would go from: "db.mycollection.find() to " db.mycollection.find({"":""}) " with the click of a button.

I added a badly formated connection string and instead of telling me I was wrong it proceeded to crash the entire program.

Some sort of hotkey would be nice -- Ctrl-enter or F5, or both

There should be some helper text in the "New connection" window so I know what format to post the connection strings in (And what formats are acceptable).

Being able to highlight particular sections of the results for copying to the OS buffer.

Also executing/importing/exporting js files?

So it shows up nicely on my start menu and wox 🍨
