django-chamber's Issues

“python_requires” should be set with “>=3.5”, as django-chamber 0.6.13 is not compatible with all Python versions.

Currently, the keyword argument python_requires of setup() not set, and thus it is assumed that this distribution is compatible with all Python versions.
However, I found it is not compatible with Python 2. My local Python version is 2.7, and I encounter the following error when executing “pip install django-chamber”

ERROR: No matching distribution found for Django>=2.2 (from django-chamber)

Dependencies of this distribution are listed as follows:

'Django>=2.2',
'Unidecode>=1.1.1',
'pyprind>=2.11.2',
'filemagic>=1.6',

I found that Django>=2.2 requires Python>=3.5, which results in installation failure of django-chamber in Python 2.7.

Way to fix:
modify setup() in setup.py, add python_requires keyword argument:

setup(…
     python_requires=">=3.5",
     …)

Thanks for your attention.

License mismatch

Hi, there is a mismatch between the license as stated in the readme and on github and the license in the setup.py file.
I'd like to use django-chamber because it's a dependency for django-GDPR.
I've noticed that there is a dependency on Unidecode that itself is GPL so to remove GPL it would be possible to use anyascii module to romanize unicode text.
If you would agree to merge a pull request I may help on this issue.

Example project is installed as package

The example project is also installed as Python library when intalling via pip. I believe this should not happen.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Check that example package does not exist:
(test) [ondra@golem test]$ python
>>> import example
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'example'
  1. Install django-chamber and check example package is installed:
(test) [ondra@golem test]$ pip install django-chamber
(test) [ondra@golem test]$ python
>>> import example
>>> example
<module 'example' from '/home/ondra/other/venvs/test/lib/python3.7/site-packages/example/__init__.py'>

The expected result is that there is no example package after installing django-chamber.
