This would solve the issues caused by using Bee Better and Bee Productive at the same time.

Mod is correctly installed on client and server, as the host i seem to be the only one able to join.

how to:
-limit the bee brick to only house one bee at a time
-do a roll shortly before it's time for bees to come out after the night
-if the roll passes, and there isn't currently a bee inside the bee brick, spawn a bee in front of it (or "inside", not sure which is easier)

Please add the ability to enable / disable individual items added by this mod. This would be a useful feature in a modpack where other mods may add similar/conflicting items or maybe if someone simply does not enjoy swimming in honey (lol).

Game crashes when used with Create, potentially also with some other mods. I'm adding a crash report to this, so the issue can be figured out.

One of the features people seemed to care about in the comments of Farmcraft was the bee suit. With the new update I'm removing that feature and trying to move away from bee additions, but it seems like it would be perfect in Bee Better. The bee suit is a set of armor that provides no protection but prevents bees from getting angry with you. It would be perfect for more "delicate" bee keeping work. The version of Farmcraft currently on Github has code and textures that basically do all of that, feel free to use any part of it, or none of it, that's also a valid plan.

Instead of a nearby bee check, BeeBrickBlockEntity should have a bee "attached" to it, and instead perform the check based on if the attached bee has moved to a different hive, died, does not exist, or is out of range.

Just an idea.
