doublecmd.github.io's Issues

Time for a new documentation release?

Double Commander 0.9.7 will be in Ubuntu 20.04 to be released in April 2020.
(unless there's another release before Feature Freeze at the end of February)

Has much changed in the documentation since 0.9.3?

More elegant way to show the path history

version: 0.8.1 gtk3
Press the "Ctrl + H" to view the path history, which's a very very long list.
It will be more elegant to show list in a window with search function.

webpages interlinking

Hi!

Summary:

Uplift the index pages, navigation/header bar, for a more interlinked and complete experience

Details:

The problem is that:

  • there's only ONE interlink between them
  • i.e. the doc index page links back to the dc.sf.io via this "Homepage" button in the header
  • the .sf.io page links to the gh pages in loads, ...
  • but NOT to the doc
  • and the .com pages feels just single isolated page in and off itself.

So, the conclusion is that, these 3 index pages are like totally isolated islands

Solutions:

It would be really nice if:

  • the .com and .sf.io ones - i.e. the homepages, could be merged
  • the navigation bars of the .sf.io homepage could be tidied up
  • and the homepage also links to the doc index page.

New documentation release for 1.0.10?

Double Commander 1.0.10 should be included in the upcoming Debian 12 bookworm and Ubuntu 23.04 releases.

How about a documentation release to match?
