Emailing with the admin more, we found out that the issue doesn't happen with config file:

Is there something drastically different in my config compared to the defaults? I think it's something related to my require_ lines, but I don't think they explain this.

More information: this appears to be happening only with IPv6 connected systems?

Weird. It seems to work now, and this server is not reachable over IPv6.

Closing in favour of #66.
However there is a weird behaviour with dnscrypt-proxy logging giving the provider name when the signature check fails, but when e.g. IPv6 is not supported, another name is shown in TIMEOUT message.
