Like array_merge the MergeColumnsDecorator will make an array of values based on several columns within a csv file. It should be possible to join multiple columns into one too.

ReaderBuilder::build('file.csv, ['mapping' => ['col' => 'key']]) will throw an error.

Add the ObjectDecorator before this mapping can be resolved via configuration.

internal file handlers are left open, let's close them

Enable clark notation to better specify the elements to iterate over.

These decorators should return a ArrayObject

treat empty strings as null values because they are considered not set.

First check for the handler case sensitive, when no handler is found try again case insensitive.

Currently:

• Reading xml requires XMLReader which itself can not handle a resource as input (f.i. from fopen)
  • XMLReader must be replaced by a custom InnerReader that uses xml_parser
• Csv reader uses SplFileObject that can not handle a resource as well.
  • SplFileObject must be replaced by a custom InnerReader that uses fopen()
• Reading json can be from an resource (JsonReader::stream())

Pro:

• Using streams ease enabling PSR-7 Stream implementations

Con:

• xml namespace information might be gone or hard to reproduce
