As of now the address bar is always focused on 'new tab'. For startpages like http://dkambersky.github.io/ which serve as 'one key press' redirectors, optionally focusing the page itself would help with usability.

It works for me, but the 'New Tab intercepted' Chrome throws at the user on first use might be scary, esp. when seemingly nothing changes. This functionality might be worth extracting to a standalone extension.

Why, why does that have to be specified through the manifest, instead of a runtime option? Chrome (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

Currently, when the extension is loaded onto a new machine with Chrome's sync features, the settings like blocked websites and target website get synchronized too, but the extension does not ask for piecewise permissions again, making it unable to do its job until the user re-assigns the websites again.
