I am used to Trello instead of Projects, where you can comment on the cards. For these cards, it may be useful to have different perspectives, or additional insights tacked on. Is this possible with GitHub projects?
Give yourself one or 2 weeks to make minimum viable project. Then send to a collaborator with fresh eyes. Collaborators lose interest quickly with lack of visible progress, so it is important to get them onboard with something tangible. If you can't create something tangible enough to get someone interested within 10 days, then maybe the project is not a good idea.

Make evaluations when tired. It's easier to say yes to things when being energetic and optimistic. E.g. after night observing it's more realistic to evaluate how tired one would be on a 3 day meeting that requires 30hr+ of travel to get there and back.
