When following the "Deploy the configuration files from source directory" example with this code:

class { 'screen':
  config_dir_source => 'puppet:///modules/screen/common/etc',
}

the ::screen::config class will get config_dir = '/etc' from ::screen::params and thus reset permissions on all the files under /etc.

Even worse, if following the next example:

class { 'screen':
  config_dir_purge  => true,
  config_dir_source => 'puppet:///modules/screen/common/etc',
}

...it will try to remove everything in /etc!

puppet/extlib == 2.0.1 appears to work correctly with the module.

Looking over the changes on the bump for puppet/extlib to 2.0.0 there doesn't appear to be any truly breaking changes other than some minimum version bumps and declaration to be Puppet 5 compatible.

The range should be update to be < 3.0.0
