Thank you very much for this module. We liked it quite a bit but needed a version that could run with out the puppet enterprise console so we built a Parameterized version of it -- https://github.com/runthebusiness/puppet-splunk

We also fixed a few bugs in our version so we wanted to let you know in case you would like those changes to end up here as well.

Here are the changes we made:

• Made splunk class paramaritized so it can work with out the entriprise console
• Added support for amd64 systems
• Fixed variable name "installer" in windows set ups to reference: ${splunk::params::installer} (untested by probably fixed issues with windows installs)
• Add the installerfilespath option. This allows you to store your installer files in a separate module or else where on the disk.
