as I (somewhat snarkily) requested in #17 , I was looking into doing a firefox port and I would greatly appreciate a license to be applied to the code.

Just installed the chrome extension and added my Roku model 4230X and worked like a charm - but only with the video! I'm not getting audio on my TV.
I appreciate any guidance.

RokuKast has stopped working with the Brave browser, vids appear briefly when I click on the extension then disappear?

Hello! In the setting for RokuKast there's a "Select your device (requires ssdp-provider)" option. But the pull-down menu is always empty.

Is there guidance on if this feature is operational, and if so how to use it? Thanks!

I have the correct IP address inputted. It was working earlier today, and suddenly, it stopped working. I didn't update Chrome. I did try to clear cache, but that didn't work.

When I click the button to cast, it acts as if it's starting, then it stops and refreshes to home screen. Not sure what's the problem. Thanks.

I love RokuKast! When at home it works perfectly on my TP-Link AC1750 Archer C7.

But on the road the ability to cast the exact same streams is very much hit-or-miss -- and when I try there are always only two outcomes:

• On some networks I'm able to RokuKast streams successfully on 100% of my tries
• On other networks I'm able to stream successfully on 0% of my tries. On these tries, the TV screen does not change.

I of course always update RokuKast's settings by changing the "... or enter an IP address manually" field, then restart my Chromebook.

I don't know how to troubleshoot or what information I can collect here, but would be happy for any suggestions or advice. Thanks so much!

I have noticed that this extension has stopped working after a recent Roku firmware update. When attempting to cast a video it will briefly load the "Play On Roku" splash, and then disappear back to the home screen. I'm not sure if you are still working on this, but an update would be great if possible. It is one of my most frequently used extensions and such good work.

after I play a livestream or a video online and press the cast button under the rokucast chrome extenson, nothing happens on my tv roku screen. It used to work before , but nothing now. can y'all please fix this?

the extenstion works great. but whenever i try to use my vpn for chrome it doesn't cast the video til i turn off my vpn. anyway you can fix this so we can use vpns..

The extension is great. But, subtitles aren't displayed with videos. Can this feature be added?
