How does it work?

Parses 'Copy as fetch' of a license request, locates the challenge if license wrapping is being used, extracts the PSSH data and re-sends the request. No Manifest, Cookies or License wrapping integration required.

Requirements

Installation

  • Place your CDM (as a Widevine Device) inside of the cdm folder.
  • Install the requirements.txt file

Usage

  1. Play a DRM protected video
  2. Click Copy -> Copy as fetch on the second license URL (the one with the long payload)
  3. Click Process

SSLError

SSLError: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='fwp.now.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /wrapperWV (Caused by SSLError(SSLError(1, '[SSL: DH_KEY_TOO_SMALL] dh key too small (_ssl.c:1000)')))

No Widevine Devices detected inside the ../cdm directory

I can't seem to figure out what sort of format this program wants the two main files in. I've dumped my keys using the Android Studio emulator method and have two files named client_id.bin and private_key.pem.

I've tried copying those files directly to the ../cdm folder. I've tried copying the entire dump from within the key_dumps folder. I've also tried renaming the files to device_client_id_blob and device_private_key. All of these resulted in the same error, so I'm not exactly sure which format the program wants these files in.

Bro, how can we get a key from udemy? It is usually m3u8.

Using a real cdm

of course, would it work on vdocipher? since thats one service that scarce has any usable script.
