gm-vision's Issues

How do you instal this module

Th manifest link is broken - I get

[Feature Request] Separate the functions of the module and more settings

Currently you don't have any choice if you only wanna see the monsters through fog and do not want to also remove fog when toggling the module. There should be a settings page with checkboxes for increased brightness, reavealing fog and showing tokens, maybe even the possibility of individually toggling them. I love the reavealing tokesn functionality but I don't want to have the fog revealed. also, an opacity settings for the brightness and revealed fog would be nice, some people might prefer to have a harder, more noticeable line between the token's vision end point and where the GM vision starts.

Different coloring of unlit areas for better distinction

Is it possible to change the color / shading / whatever of unlit areas when GM Vision is on, so it's easier to see and distinguish which areas are lit and which are not? Or maybe something similar like the token overlay this module provides.

GM Vision preferences hatching over hearing/imprecise

I'm not sure this isn't by design, but when GM Vision is turned on with one token selected, it will show another token as hatched/not visible, even if the token should be heard/imprecise.

Example below. Selected token has 30ft blindsight, 60ft hearing. A token 40ft away shows as hatched when GM Vision is on, but shows as imprecise when it is off.

Since with the imprecise targeting you can't actually tell what the token is, perhaps this is a purposeful decision. But it seems weird that GM Vision actually hides info that would otherwise be apparent (that the token actually is imprecisely visible to the selected token).

Perhaps both the token and the imprecise overlay would be a reasonable signifier with GM Vision on if token is only imprecisely visible.
