tObserver TYPO3 Extension

What does it do?

The tObserver TYPO3 extension is required to enable a TYPO3 website to send data to the tObserver TYPO3 Monitoring Service.

What is tObserver?

tObserver (TYPO3 observer) is a free TYPO3 monitoring and management solution, which allows a global overview of all your TYPO3 instances. It includes an overview of all installed TYPO3 core versions, extensions and contains some basic data about the system environment of each website.

tObserver can also monitor TYPO3 websites by checking configurable URLs for a given HTTP status code and will inform you by email, if the request to the webserver did not respond with the expected HTTP status code.

Detect TYPO3 composer mode

Wrong PHP version detected

Under certain conditions the wrong PHP version is detected (e.g. PHP FPM running as CGI on nginx)

error on starting scheduler task

Hello,

i get an error on starting the scheduler tasks and i did not how why.

The error message in scheduler module:

Return value of "Derhansen\Tobserver\Command\CheckApiCommand::execute()" must be of the type int, "NULL" returned.

The error message in log module:

Core: Exception handler (WEB): Uncaught TYPO3 Exception: Return value of "Derhansen\Tobserver\Command\CheckApiCommand::execute()" must be of the type int, "NULL" returned. |
TypeError thrown in file /vendor/symfony/console/Command/Command.php in line 258.

Instance details TYPO3 core version message wrong, if project is not completly set up

If you create a new instance in the backend of tObserver the message at
Instance Details > TYPO3 Core version says "No new version available"

Which he cannot know, as there is no info about the version at this moment.

Instance ID & Access token lost when updating

Hi;
I updated from 9.5.x to 10.4.x and lost Instance ID & Access token in extension configuration.
Is this by purpose? If so, it should be mentioned in the release notes.

Do not find scheduler task

Hi,
I configured tObserver but cannot configure a scheduler task as don't find any appropriate task in the list.

[BUG] Update Indicators not in sync

The backend still shows after updating the extension in my installation and re-execution of the scheduler task the same update indicators as before.
But the version is shown as installed extension version and possible update version.

[TASK] Set API URL in code

[TASK] Define extension key in composer.json

Version display not working (just displays 0.0.0)

Steps to reproduce:

Install TYPO3 12.4 with Composer
Install one of the extensions in the image (ig_slug, ke_search or mask)
Configure a new tobserver instance on tobserver.com
Install the tobserver extension in TYPO3
Configure the tobserver extension with its Instance ID and Auth Token
Execute the tobserver:update command in the scheduler
Check the extensions of the instance on tobserver.com

I just have something like that:

The extensions which are showed as version "0.0.0" are correctly installed with composer and are working properly

System setup:

TYPO3 12.4.17
PHP 8.2.15
tobserver 3.1.1

Secure extensions marked vulnerable in "Extensions"

I found several extensions being marked as vulnerable in "Extensions", while they're marked correctly being safe in "Instances". Happened to me with bootstrap_package 8.0.8, div2007 1.6.9, jh_captcha 2.1.4, ke_search 2.8.3 (the latter just at one site, while all others were marked as ok).

None of those sites is marked vulnerable in "Instances".
