I'd also like to create some records that aren't directly attached to a single item, but contains metadata that describes multiple items. For this to work, I'd need to be able to search for specific kinds of records, not just all records with JSON blobs.

Do you think you can add the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *' header to the response? I can access the REST API from test apps, but I can't do it from within a browser with a URL from a different domain (Cross Origin Request Sharing browser rules). Do you think you can add that to the accounts addresses as well?

I will soon get to the point where I need to create accounts and log in via REST. How does that work? Also, how do I pass in the user token into the annotation API?

Collections of pictures that might be used in a Google Maps presentation - imagine a map of Minidoka with pictures that are linked to locations, or of all the camps in the US with pictures that match

Slide shows - lists of items to show with timed delays and perhaps audio and text annotation specifically for that slide show. Basically a Ken Burns kind of documentary.

Slide shows might link to photos with non-densho URLs, such as Cloud photo repositories or social network photos (open to the public) as well as Densho photos.
