The ace Formula for M1 processor is not working!

With the same example used for testing in the formula file:

don't

I’d recommend also tweaking MacOSX.config to not hardcode /usr/local for BOOST_REGEX_LIBS and REPP_LIBS – using HOMEBREW_PREFIX will allow it to work wherever the homebrew install is (important for non-admin and Apple Silicon* installations, for example).
