How can one go about using a private key instead of a password?

I keep getting an error:
ErrorException

Trying to access array offset on value of type null

at vendor\degagne\libssh2\lib\ConsoleOutput.php:126

The line in question is $this->error_message = error_get_last()['message'];

What can be the cause as I followed the guide to the letter?

Tell me, please, how do we properly establish a remote SSH connection with authorization through Kerberos?
Initial data: PHP script already receives the variables REMOTE_USER and KRB5CCNAME.
A few questions:

1. How to log in correctly after ssh2_connect ()? Are ssh2_auth_ * methods not suitable for this purpose?
2. Can I get an example of working with Kerberos for your library? In readme, the order of calling methods is not clear.
