I made a patch to change the upload and download limit from the torrent's
context menu, like in uTorrent.
There is a new tab in Loacl settings, where you can set the values (in
kb/s, comma separeted) that will be displayed in the context menu.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Transmission
2. Connect to Transmission running on MyBook
3. After 1-2 mins I am disconnected, cannot reconnect, only a mybook 
restart works :(

The "Completeted At" column get sorted by day then by month and maybe first
or at last by year.

Furthermore when i skip a part of a torrent and the rest is complete
downloaded, the 01.01.1970 displayed as completion day.

Have a look on the attached file. Last torrent is the "partial" downloaded

You've done a great job with Transmission Remote.

I'm wondering if you have any interest is appling your skills to doing 
somthing similar for aria2c http://aria2.sourceforge.net/

It's an FTP, HTTP & BitTorrent Download Accelerator.
Since you've already got BitTorrent covered with Transmission/Transmission 
Remote; the obvious focus would be the FTP, HTTP Download Accelerator.

Transmission Remote exacly solved my requirement for rich, remote 
management of a host based bittorrent deamon. What I'd love to have is the 
same capability for a host based FTP and HTTP download accelerator.

Please conside and let me know if it stands a chance.

This tool is great though and I love it..! 

I think most of the people have torrents dir shared by samba if
transmission-daemon running in their network.
It is convenient to launch downloaded files right from remote samba server.
Can you please add support for opening downloaded files by double click on
their names?
As I see it - we need additional option set by user - UNC path to torrents
folder on some samba server.

Hey, I'm really liking the new UI, but I hit a bug right off the bat.

After clicking the connect button, the status bar reads "Connected. Getting
torrent information..." but no torrents ever show up in the list. I have a
feeling it's because I'm not using v1.4 of the transmission-daemon.
However, I am running the latest version available in ubuntu, so it would
be nice if it worked.

Version: 1.34-0ubuntu2.1

Running the app through debug in visual studio shows that the app is
getting stuck on line 89 of SingleInstance.cs -- server.WaitForConnection();

I works fine in I mim the error message but it is very frustrating that it
is there.

Title says it all, but still:

Sometimes, torrents have a huge file list. For example when downloading all
series of a tv show in 1 torrent. But usually, each season is put into its
own directory.

It would be very nice to see that directory tree in the file list :)

are you interested in support for mono?
with a very little effort i have, actually transmission-remote-dotnet
running here under mono on Linux

It will be good to have possibility to specify destination folder for new 
torrent (like it is done in Transmission Remote GUI)
Also there is should be possible to select specific file(s) to download

And if destination folders will be different for each torrent, you need to 
review feature "Open on network share". I think you can take first part of 
network path from settings, and second part from torrent’s destination 
folder
For example, in settings you can have remote_path=/torrents; 
network_path=\\server
If torrent’s destination folder is /torrents/games/mario, network path 
should be \\server\games\mario

To open torrent-files with T-R and start download.

I made a patch to query new session information from transmission. But 
this work after my other patch is merged to transmission. See 
http://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/1715 .

I expect priority Low for THIS file. Priority Low set to file that was 
here if sort was alphabetical. Priority set is OK only for default file 
sorting.

I changed the connectButton type to ToolStripSplitButton. And add the 
profiles to DropDownItems. With thsi, you can select the profile to 
connect.

I have good and bad news:
- Bad news: you are about to have some work
- Good news: ratio limit is available for Transmission 1.51-2 (provided by
Ger)...

Added menu item to completely hide the category listing, also bound it to
F7 to behave like uTorrent does.

Sorry for the messy patch file, visual studio is terrible at keeping those
.resx files clean.

A few non-standard things about the GUI...

1. Options windows appear on taskbar. Would be more "standard" to have them
be modal.
2. Alt-Tab icon is 16x16
3. Tray icon interface is non-standard -
http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing/archive/2009/04/30/9577283.aspx is a nice
overview, it'd be good to have more stuff in the right-click menu anyway
4. No keyboard accelerators (& in menu/label titles)
5. Tab orders in dialogs not right
6. Icons are different in category pane and torrents pane
7. No icons in info pane files list (try getting the default icon via
SHGetFileInfo)
8. Toolbar buttons are some kind of custom Office style, not the Windows
theme style (menus too)
9. Menus should have icons matching the toolbar buttons when they perform
the same action
10. Torrents list does not show selection when not focused
11. Various other stuff, e.g. tab controls, progress bars are drawn in a
non-standard way
