deegree / deegree3-docker Goto Github PK

Hello!
I heard about you at the FOSSGIS 2020 and want to try out deegree.

I simply run
docker pull deegree/deegree3-docker:latest
and
docker run --name deegree -p 8080:8080 deegree/deegree3-docker

but when I go to localhost:8080 I just see the tomcat startpage.
Do I have to do something else to run deegree?

Currently the deegree image supports only the OS/ARCH linux/amd64.
The support of other arch shall be supported as in the base image for tomcat.

Add defaults -Xms2g -Xmx4g to JAVA_OPTS.

From version 3.5 the docker image tag will change from v3.4.33 to 3.5.0 without the prefix v. We will possibly keep the git tags in the GitHub repository, these tags will remain with the prefix v3.4.33. The tag latest will be always on the last stable version!

the information at https://hub.docker.com/r/deegree/deegree3-docker does not match https://github.com/deegree/deegree3-docker/blob/master/README.md, a reference is made to docker exec -w /opt/deegree-tools-config/bin deegree ./d3config -help which does not exist on latest docker image

Add support to set password for admin console (/console) and REST API (/config) via environment variables.
