Unraid on tailscale support page

This is intentended to provide access to the unraid server itself over tailscale and does not act as a VPN gateway. It is possible to get this working using UP_FLAGS however as this was never the intention for this container I cannot provide support for this usage.

Optional Env Vars

  • UP_FLAGS – Pass flags to the tailscale up command run on start-up Please note that support cannot be provided for the use of UP_FLAGS

unraid-tailscale's Issues

Update Version

Hi,

I'm pulling this package using Docker and all is working - however the Tailscale admin panel is saying the version is out of date.

I can see the VERSION arg but I can't see where it's set, both here or in the CA template...

Any chance you can help with this?

Spelling on Repo's about

On the repos about, unraid is spelled "unpaid". I could be missing a joke, but I believe it to be a simple spelling mistake.

"latest" tag points to 1.24 instead of 1.26

On dockerhub, the latest tag points to f58a2df58ee8 (1.24) not to d5e42c4cefae (1.26).
Latest tag should be automatically created. There might be some bug in the pipeline for releases.

Is there a way to get a https cert?

Is there a way to get a https cert?

Looking for help here. I am trying to provision a tailscale cert for my unraid set up. What do I need to type in the terminal to get a cert?
tailscale cert
tailscale
cert
are all not working. I feel like I am missing something here.

Regular releases?

Could we setup regular docker builds of this to keep up with latest images?

Potentially update to 1.36 to get access to the update command

Hello all! I was browsing the tailscale changelog and realized that they added a command to update the client from the terminal. I was hoping that this could fix the issue of updating the container manually by the maintainers constantly. Not sure if it would work with the container and the way it works, pretty clueless about the way that docker works.

Docker Exited (1), previous build worked fine

Don't know if it's related but getting this message toward the end of the log

[unexpected] peerapi listen("ADDRESS") error: listen tcp6 [ADDRESS]:0: bind: cannot assign requested address
