markdown-mark's Issues

Not proper link assigned

"Copy Tab URL as Markdown Link" does not copy properly links from this website for instance. It does not include the link, see [EGUsphere - Warming effects of reduced sulfur emissions from shipping](moz-extension://d7e0be0e-a147-47b5-8d24-d65e7920a6b6/). Otherwise, awesome work!

Include source URL

Can we have source URL inside the text we grabbed, like we have toggle button for headers?

Edit: now I realize this repo is not for firefox extension, sorry.

Use different arrow in Unicode approximation

The current arrow doesn't look like the one in the mark, since the head is made of two lines rather than a triangle. A better approximation could be ⬇ (downwards black arrow, U+2B07) or ⭣ (downwards triangle-headed arrow, U+2B63). The former seems to have better font support.

Extension won't download file if reserved character is in title

I was trying to download this page as markdown

https://gearspace.com/board/electronic-music-instruments-and-electronic-music-production/197168-tips-making-ambient-drones-steve-roach-drone-zone-style.html

but the download wouldn't work as there was a slash (/) in the title - I finally worked out how to correct this by editing the title but could we look at substituting reserved characters automatically?

i.e https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filename#Reserved_characters_and_words

Font of the "M"

Hi!
Can you tell what font was used for the "M" in the Markdown Mark? Or is it drawn from scratch? It would be nice to be able to add letters to the mark while maintaining style consistency.
Thanks

Problem with 'download selection as markdown'

The 'download selection as markdown' option doesnt work reliably. Content from simple pages work as expected but more complicated one (ie from StackOverflow) generally doesnt produce anything. The header tags within my template however work as expected.

High-resolution versions for download

e.g. 512px, 1024px, 2048px

I wanted to get a high-res version to set as a file icon in OSX, but the highest resolution I found here was 208px. I don't have Photoshop, and in any case it would be nice if it were easy to get them off the internet.

These don't need to be in the repo (at least not on the master branch), but they could be added as downloads on GitHub (or elsewhere).

bug: Download image files at wrong place

If specify a folder to download .md and all relatively images, the .md file can be downloaded at right place, while images will be downloaded in the default DOWNLOAD folder (im using Big Sur with chrome @ latest version), please check, thank you!
